"Get You on the Tube: Video is What They’re Watching"
Presented by Dresden Engle, Dresden Public Relations

We all know we need to take charge of our online persona and keep our website and social platforms updated and engaging. But if we take a pulse check of what is most engaging, the reality is two-thirds of all online consumption is video, and that number will only continue to grow.

What you can take away from this seminar:

    • How to make videos that won’t break the budget, including do-it-yourself possibilities (even with an iPhone)
    • What stories to tell and news to share that will get people watching and further understanding your business and “who” you are
    • Realistic pricing when you hire a professional
    • How and why to make video a big part of your storytelling and integrated marketing plans.
    • Viewing examples of videos that “work” and get people talking about you — created in the last year by Dresden Public Relations for local businesses and non-profit organizations.
Dresden Engle, director of Brighton-based Dresden Public Relations, has been creating video for more than a decade. Her team’s videos have won awards nationally from the American Association of Museums and locally from the American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America.

The media reps love to sell clients directly, because they know clients do not subscribe to rating books, have no idea of what post buys are, and can easily be sold on packaging unsold slow moving inventory. After all, the big companies cherry pick the good spots and leave all the peripheral media that's not as effective.

In 2015, Theresa resigned from Next Step and emerged on the other side as an entrepreneur, taking what once was a business expense and turning it into a profit center as a SendOutCards Distributor.

Topic: Relationship marketing is a relationship management strategy designed to encourage strong, lasting connections to your brand. If you’re doing the same thing as your competitors, differentiate by being the business person who shows genuine gratitude and appreciation and you’ll outperform the one who only sells, promotes, and then moves on. Making people feel good, feel valued … that’s not so common these days and that’s why relationship marketing has proven to be so successful.
