Seminar Description: Thera’s seminar provides information about dementia and how it impacts people in the workplace. She will present information that will help you, employees, and coworkers navigate interactions with customers. Seminar Objectives:
Thera is going to:
• Explain disease facts and how to recognize the warning signs.
• Share recommendations for supporting individuals in the workplace.
• Share resources for employees balancing work and caregiving.
• Provide tips for employees in customer service.

BIO
Thera Blasio is a Program Manager with the Alzheimer's Association's Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter. Thera joined the Chapter in 2019 following a career working in residential communities including Assisted Living for older adults. Currently, Thera's role focuses on building relationships and providing education in Monroe County. Her goals are to provide awareness and education to special constituencies such as professional caregivers, employers and working caregivers, and deaf and hard of hearing members of our community.
