Bob Lewis will present an introductory seminar; each participant will get a FREE copy of the book, “The E-Myth Revisited”.
The E-Myth Revisited is long time New York Times bestseller, written by Michael Gerber, who has been called by Inc. Magazine, “The world’s #1 Business Guru.” In this book Michael helps us understand the true foundations of a business from the infancy stage to all the way to the mature stage and what to do to grow from one to the other. He also helps us understand the importance of knowing who we are as business persons and how to adapt that into our business structure.
He explores the franchise process so we can each develop our business on a manner that helps us learn from the franchise model without having to be one. With his example we can learn how those systems and procedures will improve any business. With that support we can truly know what it is to work on the business and not in the business. That’s the way to get our business not to be so dependent on us and more profitable.
This seminar is the first of a series of workshops based on the concepts of Michael Gerber’s guide-book to get us to thoroughly understand the principle concepts of this approach:
1. Understanding who we are as business persons and how that matters as we operate the business.
2. Getting clear on where we are today and where we want to go; how will we know when we are the maturity point?
3. Understanding the franchise prototype and why that matters.
4. An inside look at how your primary purpose guides the systems and structure of the business.
It will take a number of workshops, possibly 5 to complete the process and get everyone well “franchisitized.” The optional additional workshops will be conducted by Bob Lewis independent from the Brighton Chamber at a cost of $45. The process will include a little “homework,” like reading chapters in the book and then meeting to review with Bob Lewis how this applies to your business now. The greatest insight occurs when participants share occurrences in their own business that applies to the discussion.
Conditions to participate:
1. Currently own your own business and will to share your current status and growth plans
2. Willing to share what has worked for you and what has not worked.
3, Willing to establish and share new approaches based on new learning and work with the Brighton chamber through Bob Lewis to monitor the results for 1 year.
